Return Policy

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns for unused, unopened, and undamaged Monoi products within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be returned in their original packaging.

How to Request a Return

Contact us via the Order History in your Account dashboard with your order number and details of the item you wish to return.

Once approved, we’ll provide instructions for sending the product back to us.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Shipping costs are non‑refundable, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or faulty item).

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was faulty or incorrect.

-We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Non‑Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

Gift cards

Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

Shipping & Warranty

Shipping Within New Zealand

We endeavour to process all Monoi orders within 1–2 business days.

Standard delivery typically takes 2–5 business days depending on your location.

Rural deliveries may require additional time.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel appears delayed, contact us and we’ll assist in tracking it.

Monoi Tiki NZ Limited is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or incorrect address details provided by the customer.

Our Promise

We stand behind the quality of our products. Our Monoi Tiki Tahiti products are sourced directly from Tahiti and carry the Monoi de appellation certification. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right.

For best results store your Monoi oil in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. Changes in product texture or scent due to exposure to heat or sunlight after delivery will not be covered by product warranty.

Remember genuine Monoi will start to solidify under 24 degrees Celsius, this may cause your oil to cloud and change colour. This is normal.

Monoi Tiki NZ Limited is unable to take responsibility for products purchased from unauthorised resellers.

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or videos showing the defect

Once assessed, we’ll offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the situation.

We guarantee that the Monoi Tiki Tahiti oil sold through our online store is authentic and of the highest quality.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
