Founded by Wayne and Lisa, Astra Paints began as a small team with a big vision. We opened our first store in Christchurch in April 2022, and within a few short months, we expanded to a second site. Today, we’re proud to operate three locations across Auckland and Christchurch, with continued growth underway.

Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, unfortunately we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging.
In some cases, partial refunds may be granted (if applicable), including:
– Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
– Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Valid change-of-mind returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order. Return shipping to your nearest Astra Paints outlet (details will be provided by our Customer Service team) is the customer’s responsibility.
We recommend using a tracked courier service, and suggest insuring your parcel. As the sender, you assume the risk of items being lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Astra Paints is not responsible for such incidents. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
All tinted paint products are non-refundable, as they are considered custom orders. The only exception is if a tinting error has occurred on our part.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
