The Hepyc HSSE End Mill is a short-series cobalt high speed steel (HSSE) milling cutter manufactured to DIN 327N, designed for stable finishing and light profiling work. Featuring a 30o helix and 2 cutting teeth (2 flutes), it delivers smooth chip evacuation and reliable surface finish in common steels and selected non-ferrous materials.

Applications

Suitable for soft magnetic steels, construction and cementation steels, and non-alloy and alloy carbon steels up to approximately 1,100 N/mm2.

The cutting speed values below are indicative starting points and should be adjusted according to machine rigidity, tool diameter, coolant use, and cutting conditions.

• M – Stainless steels
  • >950 N/mm2: 15-20 m/min
• K – Cast irons
  • >500 N/mm2: 34-38 m/min
  • >800 N/mm2: 20-24 m/min
• N – Non-ferrous metals
  • Cu alloys: 45-90 m/min
