Use & Care:
Use low to medium heat to prevent burning and sticking
Never use the high heat setting or booster setting on an induction stove
Preheat the cocotte before adding food
Do not heat empty – apply a little oil or lightly smear the cocotte with greased absorbent paper before cooking
Avoid using the dishwasher for enamelled cast iron cookware
Prevent drops and knocks, especially on the edges, to keep it free of chips
Do not use metal scrapers or other metal utensils
Do not cut up food inside your pot, pan, or dish to avoid damage to the enamel
Dry the cookware completely after washing before storing it away
If rust patches appear (not dangerous), rub a little cooking fat on them
For cookware with black matte enamel, follow the same instructions for drying and applying a layer of oil
NEVER use the booster setting on an induction stove
