"This product works fine up to 1080P. If you are stuck with the need to go from USB 3.0 to HDMI then you have my sympathy. I previously did and needed a device such as this. It worked fine with the following limitations: It works only up to 1080P (hey that is what it is designed to do). It is slowish for video (do not expect spritely graphics performance). Neither of those two caveats are design-faults of the device, just a reality check on expectations. This device is limited by the port speed it is plugged into -- use it for text or slow-moving graphics only. For that, as it is designed, it works well."
"Enable me to add second computer screen to my wife's computer."
"Look, it works. But you get what you pay for. It’s definitely functional. The downsides are delayed video dragging Windows between screens. At some point in the day the mouse pointer only on this screen goes crazy (double pointer overlapped) - only a reboot fixes it. Text (MS Word) is a bit rough. The driver is a ticking time bomb. It’s just a matter of time before it stops working and there are no online updates. Windows does not plug and play this. Don’t lose the CD-rom."
"it didn't do what i wanted it to do. I followed all the instructrions and at the end - no joy for me."
"This adapter did not work and required a software driver. The seller provided one on request which did not work either. The amount of time spent is worth more than the product, so gave up."
