Silent Alert Smoke Alarm Pack

Conventional smoke alarms work by sound, but if you’re hard of hearing they’re next to useless. What would you do if your home was on fire and you had no way of knowing?

The Silent Alert SignWave Hard of Hearing Smoke Alarm Pack is a fantastic option for the hard of hearing who need another way to be notified of smoke in their home. The pack is incredibly easy to set up – simply install the smoke alarm as you would normally, plug the SignWave into its base and you’re good to go.

And because it uses the Silent Alert system, you can add any more of the Silent Alert systems to it whenever you like.

The Silent Alert SignWave is designed to notify you when something happens in your home. It has an active range of up to 1000 metres, meaning that you can know if there’s smoke in your home wherever you are.

The internal, rechargeable battery means you don’t have to mess around with changing them, simply put in in the included charging dock at night and it’ll always be ready for you in the morning.

The Silent Alert SignWave uses strobe lights and a variable sound frequencies to alert you, and the volume can be increased and decreased to suit your needs and preferences.

Alongside the smoke alarm notification, the Silent Alert SignWave also features notifications for other systems in the Silent Alert range, including the doorbell, telephone and door monitors.

If you prefer to be notified via a vibrating pager simply swap out the Signwave when you order.

The optical smoke alarm is based on the EI smoke alarm system, which is known for it’s reliability and dependability. Because it uses optical to detect smoke, it’s incredibly sensitive which gives you an earlier warning if there is fire in your home.

If it detects smoke, the alarm sends a signal to your pager, triggering the dedicated fire alert button before emitting a loud noise to notify others.

The Silent Alert SignWave base and pillow pad ensure that you can be notified of a fire around the clock. At night, simply place the SignWave into the charging dock and place the pillow pad under your pillow.

If there is a fire, the SignWave will get the signal from the smoke alarm and vibrate the pillow pad, waking you up and alerting you to the danger. And because the pillow pad is the strongest on the market, you know that you’ll be notified no matter how much of a deep sleeper you are.
