Panasonic's new 14.1-megapixel LUMIX DMC-LS5 features high quality 26mm wide angle 5x optical zoom lens (35mm camera equiv: 26-130mm) with F2.8 brightness and the O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser).
The O.I.S. is renowned for its high correction performance against blur caused by a hand-shake. It is compensated effectively without deterioration of image quality. In addition to this O.I.S., LUMIX's popular iA (Intelligent Auto) powerfully assists in any shooting situations to get the best result.
The Face Detection finds human faces to give appropriate focus and exposure on it. The Intelligent Scene Selector detects the scene and set best parameter depending on the scene such as Portrait, Landscape and so on.
It also enables recording 720p HD motion image to save memories in either high quality photo or video. The bundled software PHOTOfunSTUDIO supports easy sharing of those photos and videos you take via Facebook or YouTube.
Running on AA batteries, the DMC-LS5 offers any entry-level user comfort and satisfaction a step above.
